I have been on the hunt for a night cream for such a long time, I have tried out so many that didn't do anything for me or left a weird sticky feeling to my face even the next morning. I like to try and keep my skin care products to a minimum as I don't think that I need everything, just a few certain good products that do a great job and gain a permanent spot in my routine. I was so intrigued when I saw this in Superdrug and really wanted to try it out. The name 'moisture bomb' also sounded exactly what my skin needed in this cold weather, even though it hasn't been terribly cold here in the UK. When I first opened the box and pulled out the pot inside I thought mine was empty, it felt so light like there was nothing inside the pot. However, once I opened it there was quite a bit of product inside.
I know I'm probably starting to sound like a broken record but high street makeup brands have been stepping up their game recently and bringing out some amazing new products. Now, this one might not particularly be new but it is a new discovery for me. I have always been quite weary of high street foundations and since I tried the Born This Way foundation from Too Faced I was worried that no other foundation might the high standards that foundation brings, however, since I was running low on my Born This Way foundation I thought I would go on a hunt for a drugstore foundation to try out and I discovered the Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation, so lets jump straight in to what I think about this new discovery.

I have to say, I have the world's bestest friend ever! She loves it when I do her makeup for her but this time she let me do it for my blog, I mean, come on isn't she just fantastic? So I decided to take full advantage and do an Autumnal Eye Makeup look on her as she has amazing eyes and plus the colours really make them pop. I thought I would show you guys what I used to create this look using some lovely warm gold colours and most are from one single palette, I hope that some of you might re-create it yourselves, if you do, please send me some photos as I would love to see it. Please bear in mind that trying to take photos of your bestfriends makeup and be serious at the same time does not work haha, but we got some good ones.
High coverage, full impact colour and a flawless matte finish in just one stroke... A new matte lipstick range by Rimmel London.
Today we are going to be looking at the new The Only One Matte lipstick range from Rimmel London and I have to say I was so excited when I seen that this range had been brought out. If you know me then you know that I have been loving matte lipsticks recently so I don't need any excuses to try out a new one. They claim that the formula is non-drying and that it is comfortable to wear, very high coverage with just one stroke, glide on effortlessly, have a matte finish that lasts for hours. I have been trying this out for a while now and wanted to share my thoughts with you guys.
Eyebrows have become such a huge thing in the beauty world these past few years, many brands have released their take on dipbrows and I love it. It took me such a long time to work out what products worked best for me and when I found this little gem from Makeup Revolution I was so excited to go home and try it out. To me, this eyebrow pomade is a dupe for the Anastasia Beverly Hills Dip Brow. Lets get on with the review...
When I first seen YouTuber's talking about this and using it in their video's I just had to grab it when I seen it in Debenhams. I already had my holy grail concealer which is Bourjois Radiance Reveal Concealer but once I had tried this out I don't think I will go back to my other one too soon. I am very fair naturally so finding a concealer to highlight my face with can be pretty difficult but luckily enough Urban Decay have got a shade for everyone and i'm quite the sucker for a good concealer.
I get so excited when the drugstore come out with matte liquid lipsticks, so when I seen that Maybelline had come out with these I just had to grab one to try out. The name says it all to be honest, they are so vivid and stunning to wear. Someone at Maybelline got the memo that I struggle with some liquid lipsticks so when I tried this out I was surprised with the formula and how much I actually love it. Lets get on to the review...
I am so unbelievably excited for this review! I had no idea that Makeup Revolution had brought out this palette until I was in Superdrug and spotted it, I just had to snatch it up. Today I am going to be reviewing the Makeup Revolution Light and Shade Palette which you can see is a clear dupe for the Kat Von D Shade & Light Eye Palette. I have been trying this out for a few days now and also did a look on my bestfriend and I have definitely got my opinions on it, so lets get right into the review...
I am so excited to share this new fabulous product that I recently picked up from Superdrug. This is the Pure Clay Detox Mask by L'Oreal Paris, there are 3 masks in the Pure Clay line, I only picked up the Detox one to try it out and I love it so much that I have to go back and get the other two which are Purity and Glow. Each one of the masks has an active ingredient that makes it unique and perfect for all different skin types and skin issues. So, lets jump right into the review.
Since I was younger I could never have a nice bath without the shower gel or the bath products irritating my skin and when my dad took me to Lush for the first time I fell in love! All of their products are cruelty free, handmade, vegetarian and organic. There are no microbeads in Lush products, all the exfoliates are naturals such as ground almonds, sea salt and even sugar. I suffer from a skin condition called Psoriasis and I have to be really careful with what I use on my skin and to make sure nothing irritates it, this is the reason why I love Lush as I have never had any problems with their products at all. I thought I would share with you a few things that I recently purchased from Lush.
I got this tag idea from Emily from BeautyBroadcast.Net.
And I thought this would be a good idea to do so anyone who is reading this can get to know me a little better. So lets get started!
1. Is your hair naturally curly or straight?
My hair is naturally very curly! So when I leave my hair to dry naturally it goes crazy like a lions mane but with a lot more ringlets haha. It does give me a lot of volume though but my hair is also very thick so it just looks frizzy and that's why I straighten it.
Okay, so I know that I'm totally late jumping on to this bandwagon but, I was recently in Brighton and decided to pop into Debenhams and browse the Benefit counter. I had always wanted to try the Porefessional primer from them but I was a little sceptical as I had never tested it out before. The lady at the counter was lovely and showed me the primer and also explained all of the great things this primer does. My mum even ended up buying one and she is quite fussy when it comes to primers! So I thought that since I've been trying this out for a few weeks now that I would review it on here for you guys.
So the beauty world has gone oh so crazy over highlighters and to be honest, I'm okay with it. I wasn't a big highlighter fan when everyone started raving about them but once I found one that suited my skin tone and wasn't too chunky then I fell in love. This current must-have highlighter will not break your bank and also has a shade for pretty much every skin tone. I am talking about the Sleek Solstice Highlighting Palette.
So since I live in the UK it has been so difficult to get hold of certain American makeup brands such as Makeup Geek. However, since the launch of Beauty Bay last November it has been a lot easier to be able to get hold of said makeup. I had only ever heard good things about Makeup Geek eyeshadows and seen a lot of YouTubers use them so I was dying to get my hands on them. This post may be a little long with quite a few pictures so I apologise in advance!
I have only purchased six eyeshadows because I wanted to try them out before I got any more. I also bought an empty Morphe Magnetic 12 Eyeshadow Palette to store these eyeshadows in and it was only £5.50 from Beauty Bay. So lets get started with the review...
Born This Way is definitely a full coverage, oil-free and blendable foundation. I had very high hopes for this foundation as I had heard so many people raving about it. Because I live in the UK I had no idea of where I could get this foundation, so while I was in Brighton and wondered into Debenhams (link to buy this foundation here.) I was so excited too see a Too Faced stand that stocked this foundation. This was definitely handy because I was able to swatch the shades and find which one suits me best. There are only 12 shades available to buy in the UK but there is a shade for every skin tone. At £29 this foundation is a little on the pricey side but it is 100% worth it!
What they say it does:
"Our first LAYER-REVEAL brush: Inner bristles capture the tiniest lashes
you didn’t know you had whilst outer bristles volumise & define the
look of longer lashes. From corner to corner, top to bottom, no lash is
left behind.
Our liquid ink formula, with a low wax count creates the blackest of
black lashes that are so dark and defined. Layers can be built without
clumping."
What they say it does:
"It
conceals imperfections, dark circles and puffiness for a fresh and
radiant look. Radiance Reveal Concealer is enriched with Mont Blanc
glacier water & hyaluronic acid, which helps to visibly smooth away wrinkles and fine lines and also hydrates the under-eye area for up to 24 hours." - Bourjois.co.uk
Hello! So I decided for my first ever blog post that I would just jump right in and talk about my favourite red lipsticks for fair skin. As I have fair skin myself I always struggled to find the right red lipstick that suits me and doesn't wash me out. It took me such a long time to find the right shade of red but once I found what it was I couldn't stop buying red lipsticks.
The first lipstick that I have is possibly my most favourite and well used as you can see in the picture below.
