Born This Way is definitely a full coverage, oil-free and blendable foundation. I had very high hopes for this foundation as I had heard so many people raving about it. Because I live in the UK I had no idea of where I could get this foundation, so while I was in Brighton and wondered into Debenhams (link to buy this foundation here.) I was so excited too see a Too Faced stand that stocked this foundation. This was definitely handy because I was able to swatch the shades and find which one suits me best. There are only 12 shades available to buy in the UK but there is a shade for every skin tone. At £29 this foundation is a little on the pricey side but it is 100% worth it!
Too Faced claim that "Born This Way is an oil-free foundation that masterfully diffuses the
line between makeup and skin. For coverage so undetectable, you can’t
see the makeup and you can’t see imperfections—all that’s left is
naturally radiant skin that looks like you were Born This Way."
I would say that this foundation is definitely a full coverage foundation for those that might want more coverage, but if you are looking for a quite natural finish then this isn't for you. Don't get me wrong, it is certainly not cakey or anything like that but it does give you a lot of coverage. Once applied to the skin it blends out beautifully, and a little goes a long way. You can apply one layer for a more medium coverage or build it up for a more fuller coverage.
A plus point of this foundation is that it looks lovely in photographs with no flash back and that is because there isn't any SPF in this foundation which could be a downside for some people as you would have to use apply SPF seperately but for me it doesn't bother me that much.
I am the shade Nude which is suprising because I am normally the lightest shade in most foundations. This shade has a very warm yellow undertone which I was worried about not matching me because I have slight pink undertones but it worked beautifully.
The finish of this foundation is a satin finish, which I am not used to as I normally prefer matte finishes. However, the finish was really nice but felt quite tacky until set with a little powder. The foundation is long lasting (around 8+ hours) and once it is applied and set with foundation it stays in place. Even other products applied on top blended out wonderfully and there were no patches.
Let's talk about the packaging. It is a simple design with frosted glass and gold writing on the bottle. The built in pump is so convenient to use and dispenses the right amount you need.
Have you managed to get your hands on this foundation? or are you desperate to try it out? Let me know your thoughts.

It's nice to see a higher end foundation with a pump as they all seem to lack them, this sounds really lovely I'm definitely considering picking it up as I have heard so many good things

That is true. It just makes it a lot easier if they come with a pump. Definitely get it and try it out, I was quite apprehensive at first but now I wear it every day haha!
