I was really pleased to be nominated for this award by Gemma from BeautyBlitzBlog.com  (@beautyblitzblog) and it is also the first award I have been nominated for so thank you! I've only been blogging for around 10 months now and it is crazy to think that there are actually people out there who read my blog and enjoy it, so a big thank you to you all!


So, for anyone that might not know what the Liebster Award is, it is a virtual award that is passed on from blogger to blogger as a show of support, and it also helps to promote any fellow bloggers that we enjoy reading.

11 facts about me:

•  I have an obsession with unicorns, I absolutely love anything that is unicorn related. My mum actually told my friends and family to stop buying me unicorn teddys and cups because I have too many and no more room left for any more haha! 
• I am really tall, I'm 5'10. Both my mum and dad are quite tall and my brother is 6'4 so I guess it runs in the family but it can be a pain being so tall sometimes. 
• I love coffee! I have to have at least one cup a day or I can't function or feel groucy (not good). 
• I have a total of 9 piercings, my tragus, double forward helix, double helix, conch, nose, and 2 in my tongue. I love them all, but I sometimes want to take my tongue piercings out as they can be so annoying sometimes haha! 
• I only have 1 tattoo (on my wrist) but I really want more. The problem is I am so indecisive and change my mind constantly that I am too scared to get another one and then want to change it for something else. 
• I really hate tomatoes, avocado (I'm sorry!), gherkins and pickled onions. I don't know why I really don't like any of these but I can't stand them. My dad doesn't like any of these either so I'm guessing that I get my food preferences from him, thanks dad! 
• My favourite colour is red! I have red hair and my car is also red. 
• I am a big bookworm and I love to read. I just love climbing into bed at night and reading a good book before I go to sleep. I also think it helps to take my mind of the day or anything that I might be worrying about. 
• I love cop/police shows like NCIS, CSI, Criminal Minds, Chicago PD. I think I have always wanted to be a police officer or detective but I've gone down the Psychology route instead. 
• I pay attention to detail, I don't do it on purpose I'm just really good at noticing all the small details of things. 
• My first car is a 2003 Ford Fiesta Zetec in red (of course) and I purchased it for £950 and its the perfect car for my first car. 

Now, the questions:  

• If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go and why? 

 I have always wanted to go to America and do a road trip and visit as many states as I can. I just think that America is such a beautiful place and there are so many different cultures and so much to see that it would be amazing. 

• What would be top of your Bucket List?

 I would love to swin with Dolphins! They are such gentle creatures and I have heard from people that have swam with them that it is a very emotional experience. My nan was lucky enough to swim with Dolphins and she loved it and even cried! 

• What is your 'guilty pleasure' film or TV show?

 I'm going to answer for both film and TV show becuase I have both. My guilty pleasure film is definitely Dirty Dancing, it is my all time favourite film and I could never get bored of it. My guilty pleasure TV show is probably Gossip Girl. I could sit and watch that over and over again and not get bored. I really wish it never ended! 

• If you were an animal, what would you be and why? 

 If only Unicorns were real animals!! I think I would have to be a Koala Bear because they are so cuddly and gentle and they have big eyes like me. Also, they're very chill animals and I am a pretty chilled out person haha!

• What is the best mistake you've ever made? 

 I would have to say getting a really rubbish job that I did not like one bit but I met one of my bestest friends there. She was the only reason I liked working there and that is definitely my best mistake. 

• What is your favourite book and why?

Me Before You by Jojo Moyes has to be my favourite book. It is such a beautiful book (and now film) about an embittered quadriplegic man and a woman who is a carer who is trying to give him a reason to live. It is such an eye opening book and very emotional (keep tissues at hand). If you haven't already read this then I would suggest that you do!

• Who is your celebrity crush? 

This would have to be a tie between Ed Sheerand and Channing Tatum. Both cute and gorgeous in different ways. 

• What is your worst habit? 

Biting my nails and picking at my lips. I tend to do both of these when I'm nervous or anxious. 

• What is your earliest memory? 

Probably when I was about 4 years old and me, my mum, my dad and my older brother all went on our first holiday since I was born and I remember getting my face painted and always wanting to swin in the pool. 

• Where do you see yourself 5 years from now? 

I would hope that in 5 years I would have completed my Bachelors Degree in Psychology and completed my Masters Degree in Criminal Psychology and working in a job where I can use my degrees.   

• What advice would you give to anyone thinking of starting a blog?

 To just do it! Try and be unique and not follow what everyone else is doing. Blog about things that you love and you enjoy and then blogging will always be fun. Also, be active and communicate with other bloggers becuase the community is so supportive and friendly!
